What this website measures about your visit, and what it does not.

Last updated: October 24, 2026

We measure the audience of lesur.ai with Plausible Analytics, and nothing else. No cookies, no advertising or social media trackers, no cross-site tracking.

Audience measurement with Plausible

We use Plausible Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. Plausible is developed by Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia) and processes data on servers in the European Union.

For each page view, Plausible records:

  • the page address and the referring website, if any;
  • the browser, operating system and device type (desktop, mobile, tablet);
  • the country, region and city, derived from your IP address.

Your IP address is not stored. To count unique visitors, Plausible combines it with your browser’s user agent and a random salt that changes and is deleted every 24 hours, then keeps only the resulting hash. A visitor therefore cannot be recognized from one day to the next or across websites.

Plausible sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. We only see aggregated statistics; we never see individual visitors. We use them to decide what to write and improve, and we do not share or sell them.

If you prefer not to be counted, a content blocker that blocks plausible.io stops the measurement entirely; the site works the same without it.

What we do not do

  • No cookies, on any page.
  • No advertising, retargeting or social media pixels.
  • No fingerprinting and no tracking across websites.
  • No accounts, forms or newsletters on this site.
  • No sale or sharing of visitor data.

Other technical requests

Like any website, a few services receive technical data so the pages can load. We list them for completeness:

  • Hosting. The site is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). GitHub receives your IP address when you load a page and may log it for security purposes, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement. We do not have access to these logs.
  • Language preference. When you pick English or French, the choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key lesur-lang. It never leaves your device; clearing your browser data removes it.

Links to other websites, such as GitHub repositories or the sites of other projects, are governed by those websites’ own policies.

Email

If you write to bonjour@lesur.ai, we use your address and message only to reply to you, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or object to its processing. Since the audience statistics do not identify anyone, in practice this mostly concerns emails you sent us. Write to bonjour@lesur.ai. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Changes

If we add or change a service that handles visitor data, we will update this page and its date first.
